Get yourself a spiraliser! It is a phenomenal piece of kit and will transform a carrot, courgette and apple…
…In a matter of moments.
Then you add a little dressing and chomp away. The beauty is, it’s like you’re eating a big bowl of tasty pasta and afterwards, you feel light and clean.
Don’t want to buy a spiraliser just yet? You could actually use a veggie peeler to make ribbons from your ingredients. It won’t be as effective and spaghetti-like but it’ll taste lovely. That’s what I did with the Courgetti Carbonara recipe.
Now for the dressing;
Half tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Squeeze of lime/lemon
4-5 sprays of Braggs Aminos (or a big pinch of sea salt)
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Sprinkle of ground nutmeg
Pinch of cayenne pepper/chilli flakes
Spiralise the courgette, carrot and apple and place in a bowl or container (basically something with a lid). Add the dressing ingredients, cover the bowl/container and shake for 30 seconds, until everything is mixed in.
If you want a creamy sauce to go with the ‘spaghetti’ add a big dollop of hummus to the bowl! It works SO well.
