Celery is an athletes best friend. It contains natural sodium and has the same water/electrolyte balance as your blood. It is ideal for replacing minerals which are lost through sweaty exercise. It’s also great for your bones and perfect for juicing as it’s mega hydrating and value for money. Green food is clean food…helping your organs to detoxify themselves effectively and the digestive system to fight bacteria by reducing over acidity. All in all, celery is a winner in my eyes and an excellent way to start the day.
Super simple recipe;
3-4 large sticks of organic celery
1/4 organic lemon
Thumb of fresh ginger
Juice the 3 ingredients – including the celery leaves and lemon peel and drink immediately.
