Sounds bizarre but SO good. If you blend until smooth, the peas add a beautiful creamy depth to this simple recipe and don’t taste of peas! They are also a fab source of protein.
It has 4 ingredients – all which you probably already have in your house.
This raw recipe is about to hit the health food world. Instead of buying it…make it!
2 frozen ripe bananas (freeze with skins off)
Small handful of frozen peas.
Large sprig of fresh mint leaves
Juice of 1/4 fresh lemon
Blitz the ingredients together in a blender – you may need to leave the banana and peas to defrost for (no longer than) 10 minutes. This depends on the blender you’re using. Blend until you get a smooth icecream consistency.
Eat straight away or store in the freezer.
Make it ‘mint choc chip’ by adding cacao nibs! Happy days.
