AMAZING and super easy. In this recipe I am encouraging you to make your own almond milk as it is SO easy.
For the almond milk
1/2 cup almonds (soaked for at least an hour) and rinsed
300 ml water
Blitz the ingredients above together in a high powered blender. Ta dar – you’ve made almond milk. No need to strain when you’re making smoothie bowls.
10 frozen strawberries (either bought frozen or frozen by yourself)
1 banana (frozen or fresh)
1 dessert spoon of milled flaxseeds
2 dates (optional)
Blend all of the above ingredients together until thick and creamy. Pour into a dish. Add cacao nibs and chopped banana on top if you wish. I dusted mine with hibiscus powder for extra prettiness. Yummers
